Korg Padkontrol double pedal possible?

I use SD 2 and dkfh with the korg padkontrol. I use a friend’s rockband foot pedal with an 1/8 to 1/4 inch adapter. I like it alot but was wondering if I could combine two rockband foot pedals with a splitter(two 1/8 to one 1/4) and would be able to have both trigger the bass drum? The only problem I can think of is superior triggering the second pedal if the first pedal is pressed down. I saw a rockband pedal with an adapter that fixes that problem with a splitter that came with it. The splitter takes batteries and can only fix the problem in rockband and those type of games (unless someone can tell me otherwise). I don’t know if that would fix the issue either but was just wondering if anyone could confirm any of this or suggest a more educated guess at this dilemma. I guess right now I have no money invested in the pedal and don’t want to blindly spend money for crap that doesn’t do what I want it to do.
