Kat 3 electric drum not reconized by ezdrummer 2

Hey,
I have a drum set KAT kt3.
the triggering in ezdrummer 2 does not work.
When ezdrummer starts up, the triggering works for about 10 seconds, then it’s over.(hitting base,snare,symbal)
When I restart the computer it sometimes works again for a few seconds.
I connected the kit via USB.
Anyone have an idea where i can look?

I would guess that it’s a hardware issue. Not EZ.

You’re sure you have the proper midi device selected in EZ and that it stays after error?
First thing I would try is a new USB cable. Especially if you’re using a long cable.
I would try all other USB ports.

I don’t know what that kit is. If you haven’t read the manual yet, I would double check that the USB output doesn’t  send more than midi. And adjust the settings accordingly if it does. Some kits send audio by default, not midi.

You’re leaving a bit to be desired by not mentioning your setup if it’s more than ekit to EZ. What computer. What version of EZ. Plugging into the Mobo or USB hub.
