Morning,
I just took advantage of the current June promo for EZKeys – buy an expansion and get a free MIDI pack. I snagged the Classic Electric expansion as I already own Upright Piano and Retro Electrics and chose the Pop/Rock EZKeys Midi as my freebie.
When I fired up Product Manager – my new purchases both appeared and I was able to download everything correctly. However – when I go to install the Classic Electrics expansion – and actually click on the big red Install button – PM is saying both the 32bit and 64bit elements are already installed? (See graphic).
What gives?

yes. it’s a bug affecting that particular pop up. Click Show Details, and you should be able to start the desired installer (64 or 32-bit) from there.

Worked great.
One more Q: Is it possible for a later build of PM – to have it NOT notify on “bitness” with regards to software installs.
I am 64 bit all the way and I noticed that PM insists on telling me that some items are only partially installed – in that the 32bit version of xyz is not installed.
I will never need a 32 bit version of anything. Would be nice to have an option in PM to only notify for specific software versions (32 bit, 64Bit or Both) when viewing the summary panels in PM.
Would make for a cleaner display and save cycles/disc space etc by not downloading things we do not need.

32-bit and 64-bit installers are part of the same thing you download, file wise, and account for very little in term of size. If you mean installing rather than downloading, then yes – it should already be possible i.e the Product Manager should not tell you something is partially installed if the only thing missing is the 32-bit host/plugin… if that’s the case, post a screenshot of the Installation details within PM and we’ll look into it.
That said, it might be possible to clean the interface as you suggest, to avoid users inadvertently installing components only relevant to 32-bit DAW… it’s a fine line to allow users to hide things and not making things more difficult though, as what is relevant here is not the OS being 32-bit or 64-bit, but the DAW the plug-in is to be hosted in (and a user might have multiple, each requiring a different ‘bitness’).
