Hello all.
I`ve been looking at the offers of the Toontrack products and I was wondering about the thinking behind them.
I`ve got the email offering a discount for December but I`m still struggling to find something to buy.
Specifically…..as the product is largely of the download variety, why are the “bundles” so fixed?
After all it`s not as if the individual items have to be manufactured, packed up and then distributed.
I find it a little frustrating ( as a purchaser of EZ drummer 2 and EZ Mix 2 ) that the EZ Mix 2 expansion pack “offers” product have to be bought with another copy of EZ Mix 2, and the packs that come with it are pre determined…….why not just make it a “choose your own” deal for the reason outlined above. What about the poor guys that already have bought some of the bundle?
Surely a mix and match a deal on your own choice of expansion packs would super popular.
Also the EZ Keys stuff looks really nice but it`s a bit rich for my blood unfortunately. I`ll have to wait and hope for a special offer that suits my means. Also again the offer “bundle” includes packs I wouldn`t necessarily choose myself, a “choose your own” would sell much better I think. And as it`s a download product I don`t see what difference it would make to Toontrack
Finally…..why the seeming over abundance of “Metal” oriented products. I can`t stand that type of noise and I wonder what the attraction is, although thinking about it, if it really is popular maybe you`re just meeting a demand.
