Those that got the free upgrade were those who bought the product at a higher cost than the discounted price offered to you knowing full well that EZdrummer 2 was replacing the original that is now no longer available. That’s the way upgrades work. It’s a plan to get more people to buy into their products who don’t currently have it at all.
How would they cover their costs just giving upgrades away to all current customers.
Could the upgrade have been cheaper for ‘loyal’ customers like yourself, well that can be debated forever.
