I finally solved my latency issue by switching to a different DAW, but I am having a problem with monitoring volume through the Roland Module. If I click on the drums in the SD3 GUI with my mouse I get the full bodied sound of each drum and cymbal, but when I hit the pads, even very hard, they sound much softer and weak. I do not have this issue with the internal sounds in the TD-50X so I do not want to mess with my setting in there. Not sure how I can fix this.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Hi,
when you click the drums in the GUI, it equals a full on 127 velocity hit, i.e. the hardest available. If you can’t reach this level when you strike your pads as hard as you can, you need to tweak the velocity curves. If you do not wish to edit them in your module, you can do this in your E-drums Preset on the MIDI In/E-drums page. Switch to the Velocity tab and select all notes you wish to edit the curve for and tweak it. Don’t forget to save your curve/preset when you’re done.
