Is it possible to play with brushes?

I don’t know if Efnote has figured this out, but it is highly doubtful any ekit can accurately trigger a brush swirl. Brush hits only. I’ve asked some advanced people out there with no success. The vdrums.com forums are great for advanced research like this.

Hi Shootie, thanks for reply. It is true that no electronic drum kit can give you the continuous sound of the circular movement of the brush but the “Brushes” kit present in my Roland TD30 allows, in addition to the sound of the brush hitting the skin, also a hint of sweep by prolonging the contact of the brush a little. It’s not much, let’s be clear, but it’s better than nothing. I am sending you a file recorded with my Roland TD30 on a drumless music base. The Efnote that I recently purchased does not have this possibility but I believe that most e-drums do not have it. Only some Roland models allow it. For this reason I hoped to be able to make up for it with an external program.

I use a Roland kit that can do it as well. We are talking about “trigger”ing Toontrack products though. I believe the answer is no.

You can trigger a brush swirl, but you cannot control it’s duration, therefore, useless. It’s for programming only to my knowledge.

I can only assume I’m using the correct terminology.

It’s a bummer, but I know of no software whether Toontrack or not that can do this.
