is a roland td-6v compatible with ezdrummer 2 and others?

Hey guys. I’m new to this, I’m more of a long time guitar player and just recently became aware of toontrack lol.
ok my question is, i have had a roland td-6v set for a really long time (in the closet) and was wondering if it works with ezdrummer 2 and superior drummer 3 like some of the newer higher end models I’ve watched videos on? i was thinking i would have to use my keyboard but if i can actually break out these edrums that would be much simpler
