I purchased EZmix 2 direct from Amazon, however when I go to register and download my product I am being told I have an invalid serial number. Same thing happens when I try to download my EZmix bundles. A little frustrating to say the least.
Has this issue happened before to anyone?

(This is an updated version of my previous post)
I just purchased EZDrummer2 from Musicians Friend and when I tried to register I got a notification of invalid serial #.
Here is a quote from the email I recieved;
“Please note, you will need a Pace iLok in order to use your new Waves, Softube, Toontrack, and Samplelogic software. You may be asked to create an account prior to downloading.”
The Pace Ilok in the sentence above is a link to purchase it for $50, to be able to use the product I just purchased! WTF, nowhere was it mentioned that this is a requirement to be able to use EzDrummer2! I was pissed!
I called Musicians Friend and the representative told me that unfortunately this is now the case and I would have to buy the Ilok but he would give me a $15 store credit for my inconvenience!
I checked Toontrack support pages on how to download the software and nowhere does it say anything about needing an Ilok.
It all just didn’t make sense to me so I kept on trying to enter the serial number and eventually I entered the product key even though it was clearly asking for the serial #, I guess the serial # and the product key are the same thing in this case. This time I must have entered it correctly and it would allow me to download.
Since I was able to register and download without the Ilok there is a lie in the email from the company Musicians Friend about having to buy an Ilok. This is bullshit!
The employee that I called and talked to may or may not be aware of what is going on but the statement in the email says what it says.
Maybe they should call themselves Musicians Moneys Friend

Hello, I just bought ezdrummer 2 from Zzounds.com and I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried all the number/letter substitutions as advised, but none of them are working. I’m not sure what to do.
edit: nevermind it just worked for some reason.
Well same thing here, typed in the serial numbers (small letters, because the site automatically adjusted) and didn’t work. Swapped the 6 to a G, didn’t work. Tried with entering while holding down the shift button (for capitals…) and it worked.
