I always thought Toontrack should have a “dub kit” added to their collection which triggers tape delays etc on certain hits/velocities.
I just upgraded from Garageband to Logic and the Logic environment has allowed me to create that set-up using EZDrummer and my old Roland TD-5 and it is a lot of fun – check it out:
