    Hi,

since you are on Mac, you use the SoundMover utility installed in your Applications/Toontrack folder.
Simply run it and point it to the drive/location where you want your ‘EZdrummer’ folder to end up. All subsequently installed EZX:s and Toontrack MIDI packs will automatically be installed here.

Just wanted to quickly chime in with a ‘thanks!’ to John, this sorted things out with no fuzz at all.

Thank you John and sorry for the late reply.

I installed the ezdrummer expansion kits using my LapTop and then used soundmover to transfer over to my external HDD. But when I connected that HDD to my main studio computer Superior does not see the EX files. So would I have to install ex kit on studio computer and then use soundmover again to transfer onto the same external HDD?
    It’s a little baffling.

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

just run SoundMover on the Studio computer and point it to the folder containing your ‘EZdrummer’ folder on your external HD. This will not move anything but set paths correctly on the Studio computer.
Remember that future installations of EZX’s and Toontrack MIDI will end up on that external HD.

    Hi John,
    Thank you again.
When I open soundmover.pkg and select external HDD it gives me this error. ” EZX Mover Utility can’t on this disk. A newer version of this software already exists on this disk”

I think I figured it out by going into SD settings and Add Path To Library, then authorized. Seems to be working on both Libraies.

Have you already installed a copy of EZdrummer on that computer?

Well, it would seem that it works at first glance but you will not be able to update those EZX’s and if you install another EZX on that computer, it will not find that path
neither will Superior 2 correctly locate Toontrack MIDI files.
