Installation Problem

I’m a registered user of SD2, EZ Drummer 2 along with the Jazz, Nashville, Latin Perc and Twisted Kit EZX’s. I’m attempting to reinstall all these products via the Product manager. SD2 installed fine. All other products appear to be installing correctly and the installer goes through the whole installation process however nothing installs. I’ve gone through the process a number of times to no avail. I’m running a Mac with OSX 10.13.2. Any help or suggestions would really be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

so the PM shows all your products as installed but there’s no content besides PM in your ‘Applications/Toontrack’ folder?
Is there an ‘EZdrummer’ folder in ‘{Mac HD}/Library/Application Support?
Did you make any kind of Customisation earlier on this system with regards to moving the ‘EZdrummer’ folder?

Hi John

Thanks for the reply. No the PM does not show that the products are installed. The installer(s) will go through the installation process saying installation successful but the then the PM never updates and nothing actually installs.

I apologize for the previous incomplete response.

Yes there is an EZ Drummer folder in the {Mac HD}/Library/Application Support folder.

Yes there were some things moved around. I have an external Raid that I restored several virtual instruments to after a hard drive failure. There was a Toontrack folder there that I deleted prior to attempting a fresh install.

Hi John,

I have (almost) the same problem (as well as just having installed SD3. In answer to your three questions –
• There’s an EZDrummer folder in Application Support, but its an alias to my data folder on another HDD
• I have moved the content folder
• Applications/Toontrack shows the attached screengrab.

PM says that SD2/3 are installed and up to date. It says that none of my expansions are installed (which they are, and all working). It prompts me to update SD3 midi, which I do but nothing in PM changes….

Help!
