Wiped and emptied recycling bin of any toontrack stuff. Still getting “installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail”

What does the log say? Select “Installer Log” from the “Window” menu and change “Show Errors Only” to “Show All Logs”.

Okay. For some reason, this is only an issue on 10.6. The workaround is to temporarily change the computer date/time to before June 1, 2017, until the installation is done.
