Hi TT people,
I’m thinking of springing for the songwriting features and MIDI of EZDrummer 2. I own SD2.4.3, various EZXs and SDXs. What are the installation options for EZDrummer 2 with respect to library placement and MIDI install locations?
Thx,
Benji
If you already have S2 installed, a MIDI folder was created at the time of install. It was called ‘EZHOME’. All EZX libraries (including EZD2 libraries) and MIDI packs will install there.

Since you already have Superior2, EZXs and MIDI installed your options are pretty limited
when installing EZdrummer 2. The libraries will go where the EZXs already are
and the MIDi goes where your MIDI currently is. You are allowed to change
the EZHOME path but in this case you really shouldn’t. You can – but then
you have to reinstall your existing MIDI and EZXs.

Gentlemen,
thank you very much!
I’ll make some more room on that “EZHOME” SSD and hope for the best… 🙂
All the best,
Benji
