first of all, are you referring to the SD3 related products?
If so, the libraries do not need to reside on regular drives but the program/plugin itself along with Toontrack MIDI installs to the internal hard drive.
When you write SSD stick, I assume you mean USB stick?
SSD drives are no problem, USB sticks *should* be no problem, just takes longer time to load the libraries into RAM.
There is no disk streaming involved, all samples used are loaded into RAM.
