Hi!
I have lots of drum/percussion software by Toontrack and I like to mix and create my own drum/percussion sounds using those software in my DAW. And I keep buying more since they are so good imo and little competition really!
My question (or “request” rather) is to add more information on the Toontrack website for each drum/percussion software (core and expansion “sdx’s and ezx’s”). I noticed there is a lot of information already but maybe not all that consistently for each and everyone of the software, I’m thinking about the drum software here…
I’d especially like to know where the drums was recorded (Studio), what console (Neve desk, API desk, SSL desk, Helios desk, Trident desk, etc) was used (if any or “the signal chain”) and perticularly what kits (Ludwig, Rogers, Ayotte, Tama, etc) there are in each software (for drums). This info should be noted first of all when entering the webpage for that specific software im(h)o.
I managed to find out a lot of info but not all, for example:
The Rock Warehouse:
Studio: The Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, Canada.
Console: Recorded through a rare Neve AIR console (originally one of the three consoles custom-built by Rupert Neve exclusively for AIR Studios).
Kits: Ayotte, Gretsch & Dunnett.
Engineer: Randy Staub (Metallica, Nickelback, Mötley Crüe).
Drummer: Ryan Vikedal (ex-Nickelback).
Love your software!
//Many regards, from Robin Gardner in Sweden.
