Hi Toontrack,
Hopefully, you guys had the foresight to record all the drum kits included in the expansion with brushes and that you’re planning to release Indiependent 2 – Brushes later on. As far as I’m concerned, this expansion is your crowning achievement. These kits from the 40’s, 50’s and early 60’s sound amazing. My kind of sound. Looking forward to try and do my own version of Take 5!

I’m afraid we failed you this time. All the sounds from that session was released with the Indiependent SDX and there’s no brushes recorded.

A very unfortunate situation indeed. A suggestion if I may: For every vintage kits you guys are recording, brushes should always be a part of the palette. I like metal as much as the next thrash head, and don’t mind kits that were pounded on by Beelzebub Himself once in a while. But this expansion is something else. Brushes would have brought it full justice.
