In real world how do you tell the drummer on stage about your ezdrummer groove

Let’s say I want to play a song I created and played along with a groove in ezdrummer

Now all of a sudden I am on a stage and there is a drummer and I want to sing the song

How to tell the drummer to play  the groove

Obviously, I can’t tell him play  for example  bouncing loop 100 bpm hi hat closed

I have to paly along for a while and let him follow me?  There is no way to communicate with the drummer other way?
