Hey all,
I seem to be havin all sorts of trouble when it comes to settin up my kit w/ superior drummer.
First things first. I installed superior drummer and the drivers and such to my USB to MIDI converter thing (I have the M-Audio UNO). So far so good. Then I plugged in my kit to my computer and long story short it seems to be getting MIDI in but no MIDI out, but I duno if that’s my main problem…
When I boot up Superior I get an error message saying that it failed to load the audio driver… I made sure my sound card was all updated and stuff to. Then when I go under the Audio tab and press Devices. I get another message saying it found no AISO.
On top of all of that when I go to select the path that the sounds are in, I click on the folder and there’s nothing it in. I can select it, but it says no matches were found.
So when I hook my kit up to my comp I get no sound from the program itself and no confirmation that my comp is getting any message from my kit. It won’t “learn” any of the triggers and no sound when I click on a drum to hear it.
I guess I don’t even know where to start anymore.. After countless hours I’m about to call this one done. If you can think of anything (even th emost obvious stuff) let me know, because I’m knew to this whole program and don’t really know what all I’m doing.
If it matters/helps any I’m runnin the program on a DvT5 HP Laptop atm and have an Alesis DM5 Pro kit that I’m tryin to hook it up with.
