wave of scam activity flooded different markets forums lately so probably it’s matter of time when they will strike hear
GENERAL INFO
scam is related to stolen credit cards identities.
scam team commonly buy and list expensive plugins from different developers for atractive prices.
most of those licenses eventually will be revoked by developers within a month or two.
scammers will usually create multiple fake accounts which they will use to leave themself feedbacks to make them look more legit.
their beloved target victims are WTB topics
some developers (Softube, Plugin Alliance etc… ) lately came with time frame transfer restriction policy to fight this scam activity.
RECOMENDATIONS
(1) use only paypal “Goods And Services” NEVER send payment as “Friends and Family”. this way you will be protected by paypal in case you where scammed.
(2) Don’t accept ACCOUNT TAKEOVER offers, you will lose support by developers if anything will go wrong.
(3) Don’t accept UNREGISTERED license from someone you don’t fully trust. developers could provide some layer of protection when official transfer is involved.
(4) use common sense when you go for a deal and first make sure seller could be trusted based on his history anywhere he is referring to.
