I prefer to make my own drum tracks when working on songs. I use FLStudio. I think it would be awesome if EZDrummer (the program I use) would send the drum information to the piano roll. To clarify, in FL there are two modes to the piano roll, notes (where it displays just the keys) and ABC mode (Where it displays text from a plug-in such as drum or slice names). It would assist greatly in the production of my tracks and save me a great deal of time if this were a possibility.
it sounds like you’re describing what cubase calls ‘Drum Maps’ I don’t use Fruity but it sounds like you need to find or create some drum maps. you can probably already do this and it’s probably in the Fruity manual. I don’t think ‘sending information to the piano roll’ is a feature request, and the way you worded it doesn’t make sense to me since it’s the piano roll that will send the info to ezdrummer and not the other way around. you could also try not using the piano roll and program them another way in fruity, that’s how I did it back in the day when I used FL.
I could be wrong though..
