I’d love to see a dedicated hardware effects processor (perhaps in collaboration with TC or Digitech) that allows guitarists, bassists, vocalists, keyboardists, etc. to call up EZmix presets. All-in-1 floor pedal or rack mount (1U ONLY, PLEASE). Call it EZmix Live or something. Then you’d develop a whole new range of EZmix presets, made by top notch live sound engineers.
Compare an AxeFX or Helix or Voicelive to a processor with just 2 knobs and professional, mix-ready live sounds. For extra slickness, I don’t think you even need buttons. The 2 knobs could pull out and/or be clicked to scroll through presents and save.
As long as it’s reasonably priced (POD HD, G-string, GSP1101 range), I think something like that would have lots of appeal.
