As long as I have a valid registered copy with serial number of Toontrack products.. Can I come back at a later point, and re-download the sound data blocks for free?
This would save me a fair amount of drive space, not keeping a back-up.. Most companies are now letting you do that.
A few sleazy companies (i.e. IK Multimedia), charge you $150 to download the sound data to their instruments should you lose it or it becomes corrupted after 6 months.
(a poor business decision in my book.. I’ll never give them another dime).
QUESTION – so does Product Manager act as a back up repository? where I can reload the sound data, should my drive or computer become corrupt and I need to get the actual sounds again..
Thanx..

I posted this response in the other thread in which you posted a similar question”
As a Toontrack user for a number of years,
Product Manager lists EZDrummer1 among my products with the installation & update files from 2014.
Other EZX and SDX product downloads released in 2014, 2015, 2015 & 2017 are listed.
And this includes products for which I had originally received on CD or DVD. (Roots, MetalHeads, etc)
As a test for you, I just downloaded them….successfully.
At this time, I received no warning, no download restriction or no limit.
