I need things spelled out

Could someone please explain to me the difference between ezdrummer 1 and ezdrummer 2 and midi drums like “Action Drums Midi”, or “Basic Rock”, “Blues Midi”, etc. Thank you.

EZD1 is a discontinued virtual drum instrument. EZD2 is currently the latest version of the Ezdrummer instrument.

EZXs are expansion packs. They contain new drum samples as well as genre specific MIDI.

MIDI Drum Packs contain no new sounds, only drum MIDI performances. They are unusually organized in section format (intros, verse, pre-chorus…etc).
