Hi folks,
long time no see … last time i ve posted for my “real” band AlienLimbSign …
with let me say minor success
but now i wanna post something for my RestZeit project …
cause i ve made a major change to my guitar … i bought a Aftermath and this was the biggest upgrade i made since my
AxeFX
This pickup is realy amazing but it forced me to change at first all my AxeFX patches
and consequently my superior drummer/MF presets but it was worth it cause especialy the drumpatches needed to be improved … imho …
but judge your self
this is my new “testingsound” song …
http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10498072
and this is the equipment used
Ibanez 1527 with Aftermath brigde
Stagg 5-Stringer with 3 years old strings
Superior /MF
AxeFX for all strings
Please please leave comments especialy to the mix and the drums if there should be anything to improve and i am sure there is
… ah and i know that this was not played well … but i was tired as f**k and tooo lazy to play it again … but it should do it s job as testing song
OK … Please let your ears help me

man ive been hearing so much about these bare knuckle pick ups. im thinking of getting the painkiller set. the guitar tone is nice and crunchy. im listening to this on my laptop pc speaker btw.
Hey … thank you to write a comment in this thread … realy appreciate your effort
i strongly recommend those BKP’s … they are imho the best you can get for your guitar …
but it strongly depends on the music you make … for some genre other PU’s do a good job too
i have equiped all my 7-stringers with em cause they convinced me with this brutal clarity … but i have no experience with
painkillers … but nailbomb, aftermath and warpig are realy excellent
Anyway … would realy like to read more critix, advices, comments anything …

How are you getting such good sound with your Axe FX? What converter are you using? I can’t get that kind of sound with mine. Mine sounds like a blanket is covering it when i try to emulate my favorite tones. And if I add highs, it sounds too shrill.
