Hello!
I am an E-drum beginner and would appreciate any help!
I recently purchased SD3 to enhance my Roland TD27kv set. I am using the USB port on the module to plug straight in to my iMac. I downloaded the Roland drivers, switched the module to the vendor setting and selected the SD3 e-drum Roland preset, within SD3. When I play the set, I can see that it is triggering in SD3 but I cannot hear the drums from sD3,I can only hear the built in drum samples from the module. But when I record in SD3, it plays back with the selected SD3 sample. So I am asking if anyone can help my rookie butt figure out how I can hear the SD3 samples when I am playing the Roland TD27kv e-drums.
Thank you!
It seems you have the Midi setting “local control” set to “on”, so you always hear the sounds of the module rather than the sounds of SD3, set this setting to “off” and then you’ll hear SD3 through the module’s headphones
