I’m actually trying to use the midi packs for demo’s rather than try to write my own drum tracks, as I suck.
I can see the drum pre-recorded / midi packs in the “grooves” tab of the superior2 window within the superior plugin in protools, and I can play them, they sound great.
How do I actually get them into pro-tools to be recorded as part of the track, I can’t see a way to actually get them into the song, can’t drag them into the piano role, or use some sort of import feature.
I didn’t get any documentation on the midi packs as part of the download and this is the first time I’m trying to use them as they are far better than what I an do with the drums.
I pointer at the correct documentation or overview summary of how to approach working with the midi packs in protools would be fantastic
thanks,
Hi,
you are supposed to drag the grooves from the Superior 2 browser to the Instrument Track holding the Superior 2 plugin.
You can drag them to a MIDI Track as well.
I have never tried draggin directly to the MIDI Editor window.

well, I’m blown away, you can actually drag them directly into the midi piano role.
That is amazing functionality.
This may actually work out to be an “ok” demo
thank you for this.
