Hi there 🙂
(first of all: I’m completely new to recording so dont judge me for my lack of knowledge to this topic XD)
I just bought EZDrummer, installed it opened it and all but I dont know how to use it. As far as I know I should be able to drag and drop the samples I want into a timeline. But I cannot find that timeline.
I also tried to use it with cubase LE4. I should be able to import it as VST to use it there but all I found at the VST-input menu was to add some kind of hardware.
So now I have no idea haow to use it. 🙁
I wanted to use EZD in standalone funktion to create own drumtracks (not using the samples) and once they’re done import them into cubase to mix them with the guitarparts.
I looked the internet but all I found were tutorials explaining the menus of EZD but not how to create a drumtrack.
It would be great if anyone could explain to me in a simple way how to use EZD ( I suppose I just dont find the timeline X/ )
so far
thanks in advance 🙂
okay i’ve been searching again and found that I need a sequenzer to edit the drums to a song. As far as I can tell I could use cubase for that but I dont know how exactly.
could anyone recommend a sequenzer prog that I coud use best for EZD. (I allready downloaded Reaper and some while ago hydrogen but that was insufficient to the way of drumming that I need)
or if there is a similar thread about my question (I didnt find one) could you give me a link?
I just got it going with Reaper. You can drag the grooves and fills in and edit in the midi sequencer, or just use the Reaper sequencer to add note by note, but that’s pretty labor intensive. Post if you want some instructions for getting EZ drummer going in Reaper.
