Hello,
Me and my roommates want to play together, with me on the drums ofcourse. My plan is to buy a drum amp. But, i don’t know how to connect EZdrummer to an amp (since the drum without ezdrummer sounds bad). And if I connected a amp to my computer, wont that cause a lot of delay?
Bjarne
Hi,
If there is currently no delay on the “sound chain” (hit on drum -> sound from PC headphones), there should not be any change if the sound from the PC is routed to an external amplifier (in end of chain)
The amplifier will be connected either directly to the PC or, much better, to the external sound card
A quality sound chain (without delay) must include these elements:
– A quality MIDI / USB cable (drum module to PC)
– On the PC, a quality audio driver (ASIO4ALL for example), see (recommended) an external sound card.
