hey guys
anyone know if/how i can change the drumkit within a song? I’m working on a song, it has an intro with the Vintage Rock kit played with sticks.
Later in the song the shuffle has to be played with brushes (also the Vintage Rock kit) how can i program this?
I’m running the latest version of Logic Pro 9 and EZdrummer.
So my question is how to alternate between sticks and brushes of the same kit, but can also apply to changing entire drumkits, which would be quite handy for some songs where you would want – let’s say the Metalheads for one part and Metal Machine for another.
Don’t know if this is possible within the same track, of course i could play that second part on a second track but that would obviously eat up a lot more memory.
thx,
Tom

I would load 2 instances of Ezdrummer and load sticks in 1 and brushes in the other. Add the MIDI where appropriate. I would also use the multi out function in EZD so I could process the kit pieces together (stick and brushes snares together, etc).
