Hi, does anyone know how I can get a very punchy and huge sounding kick, while still remaining tight? I am almost there but still not quite big enough.. but then if i get it really tight, then it loses its big punch… and if I get it big, it loses tight punch… basically where in the chain to insert that transient designer. Or am I going about this the wrong way in my series approach? do i need some more parallel elements going on? parallel compression or parallel transient design on the kick mics? parallel EQing? or is sidechaining something necessary? what is the best way to make it bigbecause everything else in my kit is perfectly fine, but that kick is still missing some big punch to it, and i do not want to over-EQ.
Thanks
