How do I change the install path for the EZDrummer expansion libraries?

I know, it has probably been asked a million times before, but I will be damned if I can find one single answer that solves my problem.

I have zero room on my C:drive to install the EZDrummer 2 Expansion libraries to begin with (literally zero), so I cannot “just move the library” to my D:drive (which is the default answer in this forum).

I need to install these new libraries, for the first time, directly onto my D:drive. I cannot find where to designate the install path to choose D: for these libraries. The Program Manager has a Tools–>Options where you can set your download location, but it seems to only apply to the plugin itself. The libraries still try to install in C:.

This is the first and only software I have ever come across that does not ask me where I want the files to go when downloading them. I am sure I am missing a big shiny button somewhere that says “Change path here!”, but after stubbornly searching the software itself, google and YouTube, I have come up with nothing.

Please advise as I have bought EZDrummer2 and 7 expansions, but can’t use them.

Hi,

the Program Manager’s Download location option is only for the Downloaded installation files, i.e. not the final location for the installed files. These can be locate anywhere and deleted after you have installed your products.

If you never have installed EZdrummer 2, you should be presented with a ‘Customise’ button during the installation, where you can both Custom install the location of the plug-in and the Sound library + MIDI files location. If you already have installed the EZdrummer 2 Core library, then the FAQ
