Hello! Just trying to get an idea before I upgrade to a new Mac Studio about how important the multi-core cpu count is when it comes to running a few of your VI’s in a DAW(PT Ultimate). Storing SD3 and other Toontrack audio files on an external TB drive is what I’ll be doing rather than upgrading the Studio’s only system drive.
Thank!!
Hi,
the short answer would be: not at all.
Running a few of any VI’s on the new Mac Studio will not be a problem under any circumstances, Rosetta 2, M1 Native, etc. nor will having your libraries on external drives.

John
