HiHats (VD-11 pedal) work in Standalone SD3/EZD2, but nothing as a VSTi in Reaper, Reason,etc.

VH-11 HiHat (CC4) works in Standalone SD3/EZD2, but nothing as a VSTi in Reaper, Reason,etc.

Does anyone have a definitive solution for this issue or a workaround? I’ve been recording the Hihats as audio and converting to MIDI later, but this is not a great solution.

I’m using the Roland td25kv kit and module with Reason 10 primarily.

Figured this out finally…had to change from CC4 to CC1 for the HH setting in the TD-25 MIDI menu when running SD3 as a VSTi in DAWs.
