Hi-Hat Open/Close Response Sliders Not Working

Hello. I am trying to adjust the hi-hat open/close response using the hi-hat pedal midi settings in Superior Drummer 3. I’m using a Kat Percussion KT-4 drum kit. No matter how much I adjust the sliders, it doesn’t seem to make a difference.
