Hi-hat open and close

i have an alesis dm10 studio kit and just downloaded the ezdrummer 2 demo. I’m happy about how its sounding but can’t get the hi-hat to open and close with the pedal.
the other thing i wanted to know is if there is a midi map of ezdrummer? because right now I’m just going midi note by midi note on the dm 10 module and is kind of dumb.
if any body could help me with this to problems i would greatly appriciated

Hi,

if your DM10 is set to Factory Settings, you should just pick the ‘Alesis’ E-drum MIDI Preset from the Menu and more or less all mapping should be correctly set.

Is, or will, the Alesis preset be available for Superior Drummer? I also have troubles with getting the hi hat to operate properly with the DM10 kit.
