    Hi,

the ‘E-drums’ Controller type in Toontrack solo is for EZdrummer users, please only use MIDI Presets to set up the HH.
I would start with the Roland Preset and then try adding one of the Curve Presets. If none of them feels OK, I’d tweak the curve myself in the Velocity Curve for the HH controller.
Selecting one of the Curve Presets will show you an example.

    BR,

HI…This is sure not helping resolve my issue. I have Superior drummer, working with PT11. I can get all the drums except this hihat to work properly. I have the Roland TD25KV set. The controller works fantastic, but trying to get the hihats tweaked is making me crazy. In the mapping, I click the hihat, went to the preset, chose “note mapping Edrums Roland and Pedal Correction and get no results. Where am I missing these steps to get that to work. The choke or pedal sounds are not working. Thanks much

HI..Me again…I did read your post agin, went into the construct page, highlighted the hihat, changed the Avatar preset to another choice and all works fine. Thanks

I noticed you have the TD25KV. I’m considering getting it. I have the td20 now. Looking forward to the more responsive snare, and cymbals it uses. Does that come through in superior drummer as well as it does on the TD25KV? Like where you’re hitting it rather than just volume and such. Are you getting that kind of response going midi? I’m mainly a guitarist/keyboardist and drum for my tracks. So I’ll want to tweak them at times with midi.
