Hi Hat issues

I know this has been talked about over and over, but could someone help me with my hi hat issues. Here is an example I recorded. It gets a weird blank space before opening and then as I play and slowly close the hat the closed pedal hi hat interrupts the sound. I have mapped everything correctly using the learn mode. I am not expecting to get the pressure sensing I am hoping to just get it to sound right.

Any suggestions. I have a TD-9 with a hart epedal 2. Thanks for the help.

Hi,

I think the sound file is silent.
Anyways, don’t map – use the E-drums MIDI Preset on the Mapping page as you starting point and just tweak (if needed) from there.
