Hi.
I’m having a bit of trouble mapping my hh pedal to the various hh width articulations in S2.0. My sequencer is recording the cc4 data correctly and sending it to S2.0, but I can’t seem to figure out how to assign the articulations to the cc4 data. I only see that I can assign them to different incoming midi notes but I have no way to convert the cc data to note data. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction?
Thanks!
Dont worry about the CC4 data. You need to set a trigger note. The CC4 data will work on this. Try the learn function to get the trigger not on the hi-hat
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
Thanks for the reply. I was able to program the hh controller to the hihat in S2, and it does respond, but not very well. When I press all the way down, I get no sound of a tight hat and when I take my foot off the pedal, sometimes it plays fully open, sometimes not. I think it may be a weakness in the pedal and/or DTX. Oh well…
