I bought the Americana Audio Expansion because I need some brushes on snare style
drumming for my folk songs. I bought it because I loved the drums on the first audio
demo song, ‘Blackwing Butterfly.’ Can someone help me find where they took that
drum pattern from? I tried some of the ‘Amtrack’ style brush drum loops but it doesn’t
sounds quite right. Thanks!

The Amtrack Verses have the correct pattern. If you’re talking about the production sound, consider that an engineer tweaked and mixed that demo you heard. That sound isn’t going to come right out an EZD2 preset I assume. The dynamics of the train style snare beat were probably changed from it’s default as well to get that pocket just right whether by velocity changes or a compressor from a DAW/Hardware and so on.
That’s my best guess. A lot of people inquire about the EZX demos which are really getting processed in post production.
