Help wanted: Superior drummer 2 hihat pedal response

I’m using SD2 in combination with a Roland TD6V. At current I can play 3 articulations on the hihat, the issue is that lifting my foot up just a millimeter already trigger the “somewhat open” sound on the hihat. I want that to happen after a couple of centimeters, so my question is: how can I modify the pedals response? Anybody have an idea?
