A drummer friend is coming over and she’s bringing her Roland TD4 V-Drums.
My current setup is:
Protools 7.4 M-Powered, via M-Audio JamLab (single PL jack input)
EZDrummer (with a bunch of EZX)
Basically we want the Roland TD4 to trigger EZDrummer inside ProTools, then record some tracks.
Any idea how should this be done?
Hi,
I am afraid you will not get satisfying results triggering EZdrummer inside Pro Tools, since EZdrummer is not intended for E-drum use as its bigger brother Superior 2, unless you use Toontrack solo as host.
Normal triggering of pads will work pretty OK but the Hihat will not. It will sound choppy and very unnatural.
