Hi, I’ve posted about this before. The issue hasn’t happened in a while, but I have captured a video showing the issue. All graphics stop updating within SD2. As shown in the video provided all channels are indeed active and manipulation by effects still works, but all graphics rendering has halted. Removing the plug-in and subsequently reloading the plug-in resolves the issue. As shown, Logic receives all the channels, but none of the channel level indicators in SD2 are showing anything.
Unfortunately, the sound wasn’t recording by my screen capture, but as pointed out everything works with regards to manipulation of the sound, that’s why I show in the video the filter working, but the graphics of it failing to update, unless I choose another effect and then show the mentioned effect again, then it shows the updated graphics.
So in summary; the graphics stop updating, unless you force it to update (i.e. something and reopening an effect), but everything works fine.

Everything is up-to-date — latest versions. Here you go 🙂
Been trying to reproduce all day but I can’t.
I have exactly the same MBP model and Logic version, what differs is I run 10.11.3.

I’m sorry, but I can provide no details on how to reproduce it, as it seems pretty random, except it usually happens when I change a label (producing the label-on-label, as shown) or when adding some effect to a bus. This occurred in 10.11.3 as well, a while back. I’m sorry, it’s not much to go on. If I can provide anything else, should it occur again, let me know, and I’ll do my best.
Well, perhaps you could zip the Logic Project (without any audio files) and attach it to a post here?

Sorry, I didn’t notice the reply. That’s not possible, as I usually mix my drums in an empty project, save it the SD2 project and discard the Logic project — so the project doesn’t exist any longer.
