GOSPEL DRUMMER

I would like a new superior pack called “GOSPEL DRUMMER” or “Modern Gospel Drummer”
I find that most drums of the superior line have mainly been made with rock and pop or heavy metal in mind.
The line misses a drum sound collection that represents the modern gospel sound.
With so many great gospel drummers out there e.g Calvin Rogers, Aaron Spears, Marvin Mcquitty, even Tony Royster, Jr. the line would be a superb addition in helping users re-create the efforts of these superb artists out there.

If you want I can send you some “Midi” files.I have been notating and mapping alot of Drumming styles (Gospel included) on my Midi drum mapper utility on Reaper.You just need to import the file onto your software ie.Toontrack/SD2/EZDrummer etc….

Thanks for the offer. To be honest I am really looking for the actual drum samples rather than the midi files as I have a Roland TD-6 that I can triger the samples myself. I’ll have a think anyway. Cheers.

Not sure if the guys at Toontrack have responded yet, but I too would love to see a Gospel Drummer SDX or even just a MIDI pack released. I would be happy with just a midi pack
as there are already some great kits out there that would work well, like Avatar and Claustrophobic. With Toontracks launch of EZ Keys Gospel and there Electric pianos just released,
I think a gospel/RnB Midi pack would be an excellent addition.

SO I see that others have thought about the same thing. I too have been begging for either the midi pack or a EZD2 contemporary gospel kit to use. I think this would really be a great addition. I wholeheartedly agree that Toontrack is missing a great opportunity and is alienating a whole genre of great drummers. TOONTRACK, what are you waiting for??
