Apparently an Apple update has caused a problem for a number of users and plug-in developers.

At this point I might suggest rolling back to GB 10.2 until a solution is available.

Mac Studio M1 Max, RAM 64 GB, 1TB Drive, OSX 12.x/13.x and Windows 10 (VM)
DAW: Studio One Pro, Pro Tools Studio

    OWC Thunderbay Mini (4 X 1TB Sata SSD), Express 4M2 (4 X 2TB M.2 SSD), Envoy Express (1TB M.2 SSD)
Presonus Quantum, Faderport & Faderport 8
    Black Lion Sparrow Mk2 A/D, FMR-RNP-RNC, MIDI Xpress 128, BM5A, KRK VXT4, Equator D5

    hi
    i have some problems
with the new update= G Band does not accept ez drummer anymore and other softwares-plug in

so, will you create a patch ? it’s important to use ez drummer which is a superior drummer vs g band: ) the sound is better but now, nothing works

I downgraded back to Garageband 10.2 using Time Machine. Now all my Toontrack products are running again! 🙂

    i never did that
it can be a solution but Toontrack, Line 6 and Two Notes are aware of the problems
and the last time, Two Notes created a good patch
Second, i have added some work in my songs since the last update

G Band added a lot of sounds, loops but especially two jazz drummers 🙂 it’s very cool to have drum brushes
but after that, it’s not cool not loose ez drummer, pod farm2, wall of sound and more

After the Garageband update I was instructed to update the EZMix plugin. I did that through the program manager. Even after updating, Garageband still only displays the plugin for EZMix and it does not work, it should be displaying the updated EZMix2. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but at the moment I can’t get it to work as a plugin in GarageBand anymore.

    thanks ! very cool
and it seems it’s very fast to do
but i am not fan of downgrading something
toontrack, line 6 and Two notes are aware of the problem to resolve 🙂

You access it like any other Apple software update on your Mac.

I just bought my first Mac intending to use Garage band as recording program. I installed my old (newly downloaded) EZ drummer on my Mac running iOS Mojave and GB 10.3.1. I can’t find EZ drummer as plug in/Audio Unit in garageband. I have looked at so many q & a and videos and I am doing exactly as told but still ez drummer don’t show up in garageband. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Best regards

    Hi Tobias,

make sure you are looking in the right place for it; it is an instrument, not an effects generator.

Same stuff is happening to me, EZDrummer doesn’t show up anywhere.

Plug-ins => Instrument => AU Instrument, shows only Apple not Toontrack. I think this is correct place…
