Hi all, another clip for my band Forbidden Planet, for the track ‘Stop This Ship’.
I used the Music City PB Kit with Brushes, and for crashes used a down pitched Pastie sound Creation flat ride, and a Zildjian swish knocker, also down pitched. This was layered with the Roots kit, which used mallets, a Camco 28inch kick that had the attack reduced, and a Music City 1920’s Black Beauty.
The Clip uses my own footage taken of some Australian east coast beaches (and one Singaporean beach). Facebook won’t let us push this out, possibly due to bottle at the start, so making public elsewhere. The drumming, though nothing like it, was inspired by Manu Katche’s playing on the Sting’s song ‘The Wild Wild Sea’
