    You do not have to install EZDrummer1 before installing the EZDrummer2 Upgrade.
    The term, “Upgrade” is only relevant with regards to your ability to purchase it;
    i.e. EZDrummer1 must be registered under your account in order to register the EZDrummer2 Upgrade.
    ENJOY!!!

    Version 2.0.2 must not be the latest version on your system. You must have another version somewhere on your computer. You will need to search your computer to find it.

    You need to make sure that Cubase is set to pick up the latest and proper version. If you’re using 64-bit Cubase, you should install the latest 64-bit version of EZD2 and male site you at the path in Cubase to where it is located.

    See this video on how to install EZD2:

    http://www.toontrack.com/faq/installing-ezdrummer-2-pc/

    See this FAQ on how to set the path to EZD2 in Cubase:

    Uninstall EZD2 from the Control Panel in Windows. Search and delete any ezdrummer.dll on your computer that are left after you moved them.

    Go back to my previous post and follow the FAQ on how to install EZD2 and the updates. Install EZD2 and updates. Then set the path in Cubase as in the second FAQ.

    Hi,

    your new screen shots does not include the entire plugin interface, so it’s hard to tell if you have indeed succeeded in updating to the latest version.
    Also, which Cubase 8 version are you using – 64-bit or 32-bit?
    What happens if you start the standalone version of EZdrummer 2?

    I had similar problems. have I have Cubase 6.5 so I’m guessing it’s very similar. When I had EZDrummer I did a file copy of the .dll file and when I upgraded to EZDrummer 2 this caused me all kinds of headaches. I had to do a computer search to find all my copies of the ezdrummer.dll and deleted them all before I did the final update after the upgrade install. When I did the EZDrummer 2 update (not upgrade but the update AFTER installing upgrade) that puts the .dll in the VST folder under the TOONTRACK subfolder. Then open the Cubase program, go to the devices menu drop down and click plug in information. a box will open. Click on the VST 2x plug in paths tab and another box will open. Click the add button, double click the program files (x86) if you are using 64 bit or the program files if you are using 32 bit for the Cubase program. go to the VstPlugins folder, double click, and then single click the TOONTRACK subfolder. Hit Okay until you’re back to the plug-in information box. Click the update plug-in information button and then click the update button. EZDrummer should appear on the list of available VST plug-ins and instruments. I hope this helps.

    Just a thought; you are installing the 64-bit EZD2 update right? There should be 2 installers in the 2.1.1 update download…a 32-bit update and a 64-bit update. You are installing the 64-bit version right? If not, I would fully expect the 32-bit EZD2 to install to the x86 location…as it should.

    You know i am running Cubase Pro 8 running 32, on my windows 64 system as well as Ezdrummer i installed 64 Ezdrummer last night to see if this would fix the problem it did not .I did notice one thing after i deleted “my old windows” after upgrading to windows 10 so it deleted the old dll as well thats all i can think of and i cant revert back i deleted the windows old file ,well my computer would have done this after 30 days anyways was trying to save some disc space on my hard drive,so i think i would have to reinstall my system back to out of the box state whip the drive that would do it but i am tired of looking for a needle in a haystack that still tells me the same thing ?
