Foot Controller Help

Hello,
I use a TD-3, I realize this is a cheapie set but wonder if a toon expert might be able to suggest something. It seems that even when I only lift my foot up a tiny amount from the FD-8 foot controller. The cc message gets sent at full open, it’s difficult to get varying levels of open.

The manual has a suggestion and I duplicated this in the cc trig but it had no impact.

That’s a very common issue with the FD-8 unfortunately. I suggest you try one of the preset included under MIDI>Pedal Correction… one of the ‘more Open’ variation should do the trick (with or without additional customization).

well, this would be because the changes have to made to ‘HatsCtrl’ and not ‘HatsTrig’, as indicated page 49 of the latest PDF manual.

I posted in error. I did make adjustment to hat cntl
