FL studio, Aftertouch, and Choking

Hello everyone,

I’ve done a lot of searching both on this forum and others and have found the ‘definitive’ steps for setting up choking on roland drums and after following it to a T I have still not been able to get it to work in FL studio; attempting to choke the cymbal produces a second crash noise as opposed to a choke.

I can only get the choke to work in Reaper, which I only have an evaluation copy of, so I would prefer to use my version of FL studio but haven’t found a way to enable ‘aftertouch.’ Is this even possible or is FL studio just a poor DAW to use in conjuction with Superior Drummer? I’ve searched but there doesn’t appear to be a straightforward way to ‘turn on’ aftertouch.

I understand if this is more a FL-studio question than a SD question, but any help would be appreciated.
