Hey! I have EZ drummer 2. It looks really cool, but I cannot find any real step by step guides on how to just create a drum beat that I can play guitar over top of. It appears that you need to lick each drum to get a sound, separately? there are no no ways to hit more than one piece at a time, like using the keyboard? (I am using windows 8.1 pro) all the videos I see are integrated with other software, I just want to create drum beat to play over top of. Mosty metal, hardcore, etc. Cannot seem to figure out how to get double bass sound, etc. Again, you have to hit each piece separately? That seems weird and counter intuitive, no? I don’t know, I just thought that there would be a way to hit multiple drums at once. any help would be great.
thanks!
Hi,
if you just like to use EZ Drummer 2 as a Standalone Application you should find a few Beats in the Stock Library which you can use to Jam to.
It’s a nice piece of Software but I guess everybody has to find his own way how he gets the most out of it.
If you wanna hit multiple Drums at the same time you have to use a Mididrumkit or a Midikeyboard. The other chance is that you lay down every Instrument piece by piece. If you get used to play around with the Tap2Find Feature in the Searchtab you should easily find Beats you can jam along with.
If you want some more In Depth Videos about EZ Drummer 2 you may want to check out the Videos at Creativelive.com.
